Senior Member its752 Posted April 4, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted April 4, 2009 John2008, I read recently that general anasthesia is not necessary for many--almost all cosmetic procedures like has been liberally used in the past, and some doctors now are just using local so you don't have to be completely put asleep, which is safer. Also lasers are being used for surgery addressing different eyelid/bag surgery, which leaves far less bruising and quicker recovery times, so do your online homework. Senior Member Sean Posted February 5, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted February 5, 2011 Actually, I know of something that works. It's a cream called Jason Vitamin K Creme Plus, it also says on the bottle intense nourishing creme. It works on dark circles and bags under the eyes, reduces them quite a bit. The smell is alright. I think it's probably worth a shot. I read many reviews before I purchased it, and seeing it works for me, i'll recommend it. Oh, and it's cheap, you can find it online. Senior Member OtherSyde Posted March 16, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted March 16, 2012 Jason Vitamin K Creme Plus, huh? I suppose it's worth a shot, but I'm sure everyone's mileage will vary. I'd still go for Blepharoplasty personally, but choose a doc very carefully (DON'T cheap out here, this is your face and you live with the results). carlabe659
How about enough sleep and I heard warm and cold compress really works but it also takes time before you achieve the expected results. Consult a dermatologist or EENT (eyes, nose ears throat) specialists. _________________________ We have a very nice hair salon located at Bristol, UK. Senior Member OtherSyde Posted October 19, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted October 19, 2012 ... I think the point is that most of us, as adults in an extremely competetive modern working world, are always going to work long or random hours. Thus sleep is a rare commodity, but we're still judged and expectd to look good, despite this. If I won the lottery, or had been born wealthy, or had had the chance at some kind of Ivy League college so I could step directly into some ultra-high-paying one-percenter kind of job where I could work whatever hours I wanted and sleep when I wanted, and afford the money and time to go to a nice face-rejuvenating day spa two or three times a week, things would be different. But that's not how it is. Most of us work regular work weeks and have lots of other responsibilities on top of that, meaning time for vanities and self-pampering don't happen much. Which means many of us need a simple, one-shot, low-maintenance solution that doesn't immediately fail as soon as we don't get enough sleep or don't have time to sit around with a hot or cold compress on our face for a few hours. Effective and high-quality surgery is pricey, but you get what you pay for: Permanence, low maintenance, reliability, and high durability in uncertain situations. This is why we get hair transplants nowadays instead of wearing toupes, hair pieces, or hair "systems" that feel weird and come off when someone tries to touch it or you jump into a pool. We want a solution that is a true restoration of what was lost, a change that actually becomes a part of a person, instead of just glorified temporary makeup.
