1 Procedure (2077 FUGs) of Bill Reed, MD

This 49 y.o.'s donor yielded 2077 fugs from a strip 20 cm long and 1.1 cm wide. I did not take a longer strip due to low density in the more forward areas. He has blue eyes and fair skin and such a complexion is often associated with skin that is thinner and allows less stretching/width of donor. I could not have taken more than the 1.1 cm. These followup photos are from six months and you will notice some persistent redness that can also be characteristic of fair-complected people. It will take a couple of more months for the redness to go away. He plans to do another session and will distribute the grafts in a more overall distribution than was the pattern for this first procedure.

This is beautiful work by Dr Reed. The quality of the work is evident by the clean post-op look and the excellent growth at six months; it will look even better at a year. Its always amazing to me how a relatively small number of grafts can dramatically improve a man's appearance.
