Hair loss increased after started with prepocia

Hi All,

 

Planning to undergo HT sometime this year, so I started with 1mg prepocia. It has been like 15 days since I started the medicine.

 

At the same time, I have flu like symptoms so I am taking tylenol.

 

Not sure, because of side effects of tylenol or is this expected behavior at the start of prepacia, I am seeing my hair loss increased.

 

Does anybody has same experience?

Your propably shedding. This is common. It happened to me and many others. If the hairs were strong enough they'll come back.

Tylenol is just paracetamol (or acetaminophen, if you're american).

 

I would seriously doubt it could cause hairloss, it's not referenced in professional sources and the drug is tried and tested - its been around for years.

 

Propecia can cause an initial shedding phase. This means minituirised hairs shed, but then come in thicker a few months later. It could be this, or it could be that you are just more aware of your hairloss now that you are trying to see if the drug is working for you. Either way, give it a year and re-evaluate. Remember, no further loss is still a result.

No shed for me on Propecia when I started it a year and a half ago and no shed from Rogaine which I started weeks ago.

First month my sex drive went down.

Second month it started to balance out

third month nothing!

forth month shed

fifth month nothing

sixth month nothing

seventh month no change

eighth month shed

ninth month nothing

tenth month still loosing hair

eleventh month still losing

This is a rough version of my journel.

 

I just shave my head again with a number 1. No Biggie I've did it before, it's whatever.

 

Now, what do YOU think I should do!!!

Just began month 11 on Propecia.

 

Also, I have had a huge Appetite since I started as well, and gained a small amount of belly fat, I know is abdormal!
