  1. Thank you, I am a norwood 3 maybe going on 4 I'm not sure. My pattern is skinny then widens in the front. Started at the crown then diffused. It's pretty embarrasing and ugly. I am not sure what proffesional I should talk to in person. Should I just call some where any where and make an appointment?
  2. I'm not interested in reading through Tons of Time consuming threads. I'M waiting on this information to see a professional so I will be prepared for this PROCESS. How do I know if I'm a GOOD or BAD CANDIDATE?
  3. Wow, when I get a lot of time I'm gonna read this and put my two cents in here. I bet there's some good stuff in this. Sorry for such a random/short comment.
  4. Rogain/minox will not give you much help on your crown/ or top of head. It will slightly work for your top of head , but in my experience of research ROGAIN / minox works best for the front of the scalp. I've seen good candidates benefit from the front half of the head, but not the sides of the front. I've only seen rogain/minox work for the fron middle part of the scalp. Minox/rogain can give you headaches, irregular heart beat, migrains, dermatitis, and irritation. Rogain works best for people who do not suffer from MPB, or alopecia. If you do have either of MPB or Alopecia rogain will have to be applied constantly to even see any positive result. AND IT IS NOT WORTH IT. Good luck, with those maintenence drugs you could just accept it and finds some other alternative to your happiness However I have seen minox/rogaiun work slightly but for a price $$$$$$ and I stress the word SLightly! Best to you/ and god bless
  5. Churchies if you were to go to the doctor and ask for script for Propecia, he would first tell you if your a Candidate. By that I mean do you have MPB! he'd say "You have MPB,and here's what I've prescribed to others" You would say does it help?. "He would say, I'm not an expert butt you can give it a try". Secondly,(this is Relevant) if you were to go to a MD about getting a Hair TRansplant. They would EXAMINE if you were a good candidate as well. However, if you weren't a good candidate and this doctor wasn't a low life/greedy person they would send! you! away!. My point is, for (hair loss (maintenance drugs)), no one will tell you if you are a good candidate first! So find out before you apply/ or buy propecia. You'll thank me! Dont waste your money on propecia, if it worked as well as you think, every one would know about it, and the great positive results would be posted every where! This is my two cents, do what you plz! I've been taking propecia for a year, reading for a year, posting for a year, asking questions for a year, and helping others for a year. Best to you/ and God bless
  6. thats a dumb video, if any gullible desperate people see it, they could fall for it.
  7. Hey jordan, I havent logged on in a while, the best advice I'll give you is accept it for what it is. Te only way your gonna get your hair back, is by plugs (which nothing is guaranteed, to last) HT's can also be perseeved as maintenence as well. Which is expensive$$$$ ! Hair loss products such as rogain foam/minoxidil/or propecia are just maintenance drugs. Once minituization starts, there's no reversing it. Sorry for any bad news I brought to you. Butt MPB is just one of those shitty things in life/ such as fibermialgia (spelling?)etc etc. It seems you are only loosing from your crown, if! Propecia works, it would only slow it down after lots! and lots! of money$$$$$$. Save up for a HT is my advice to you. Or not, I'm just giving you my two cents. I've been taking propecia for a year and seen no regrowth of the past sheds. But I am an expert in the Propecia category, and much of other things pertaining to my reply. best to you/ and god bless
  8. Ferrari, I think you stated you have been taking Propecia for 22 months? My questions are this: 1) How is your libido? And are you worried about it at this point? 2) How long do you plan to keep taking it and why? 3) Are you planning on a HT? And do you still apply rogain foam? Thanks until then
  9. Thank you very much. I was thinking more like 10 thousand dollars. I have a diffused pattern, I'm probably a NW 3.5 Maybe. My relative has seen a MD about her hair, and they sent her away. She is the one insisting I get one. I would love to have my hair back! Where is your medical firm from, what state? Thanks , Default
  10. I think you should also stay on any!! rogain that is working for you. If hair cycles, rogain will help it cycle faster I think in theory, right? I'm curious what propecia could do for you with your I pattern. I've been on Propecia for a year, and did refill this month. Butt I am considering NOW a Hair Transplant. I've just posted new discussions. What advice do you need again?
  11. The best way to tell if your balding is to SHAVE YOUR HEAD AND LOOK. TRUST ME!!!!!! IF YOU DONT SHAVE IT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO TELL AT FIRST. YOU'LL THANK ME
  12. It would seem from those pics that you don't have a male patter? What did your doc say? Have you considered ever a HT? What do you mean rogain screwed with the hair on your crown? Did rogain not work fopr you, then your scalped became inflammed and you lost that hair permenently? Thanks for your response. How many sheds do you think you went through while on Propecia?
  13. How do I know if I'm a good candidate for a Hair Transplant? How much money am I looking at? Can I wear a Hat after the surgery so I caN CONTINUE TO WORK? Who should I go to? What should I reconsider? I live in Ohio, should I go somewhere close to me? Thanks
  14. I haven't seen a professional in person yet. This is the first time I have ever thought of getting a transplant, and frankly a family member has insisted I get my hair back. How much money is she looking at? Where should I go to the best? I live in Ohio, should I go to someone close to me? Or should I? How much time off work would I lose, and could I wear a hat after? How many surgeries would I have to go through and how much for each? Most importantly How do I know If I am a good candidate? Thanks, Default
  15. I am going away for a weekend, and ran out of Propecia. I didn't make enough time in my schedule, and forgot to refill. I will not take it until Monday, and thats four days of not taking it. I am also contemplating not even refilling this drug, and blow 70 dollars on something that seems to be doing nothing but a theory or a dream. My question is do you think that if you stopped taking it four days you would see a change in anything. Mood, energy, thoughts, body/liver reactions. How strong is this drug, in theory. Thoughts?
  16. Brentpoid thank you for stating that, we've been waiting for you.would you be so kind to prove that? And I made a mistake, I meant I would like the Hair that was Shed to return. I apologize.
  17. I enjoyed reading your theory and experience. I too am 25 and have a high metabolism and work out 45 min 3 times a week, plus soccer every chance I get. I will agree so far with your diet metabolism 1% analogy. With hair However will say if you stop hair that has been restored b y Minoxidil or Rogain, When you stop applying that stuff, Your hair days are over. Propecia is Supposed to decrease a hormone produced by Your body that has been studied by Science Etc. Etc. Perhaps if I was too stop taking this drug in X number of days/months/years, Maybe if The science and pill is True and not false, then your hair could stay restored until that damn hormone builds up. You stated something like this pertaining to the human body and metabolism. Pertaining to my comment of this topic, The propecia theory I stated was called I think the(snow flake theory) This has been thrown around before from what I've read over the internet. And anything you read on the internet just has to be True Best of Luck
  18. So far I can't find any other Propecia users on THIS website where Propecia has been proved to give you your answer. Although I will tell you that many propecia users have found A high amount of decreased libido. Propecia.help.com can show you more cases where it has become very bad. They also will not let people discuss this in a forum. You can state your experience thoe, read up. For my self the libido thing isn't that bad. My hair did shed, and I hope those shed return, or maybe my haircyle thingamajig will Balance it's self out. You will not find much here about propecia except negative result patients. Im just a Propecia User. I have been on it for one year next week. Good luck
  19. Prezident, What side effects made you stop taking it. It didn't stop the hair loss so you said I'm Done? I wonder Since propecia didn't stop mine, and it seems to progress, maybe Propecia is speeding up my hairloss. My plan is to give Propecia a chance and hope the sheds would come back. It's another Risk I know And young success, I will watch my wording, and maybe be more professional on this forum. Sometimes saying things in a funny way, can come off better. Thats my opinion
  20. """i'm hoping this is followed by hair growth in the coming months.""" I'm hoping you tell us when that happens. The sexual side affects for ME wore off. Their are people on Propecia.help.com that the sides became scary. Although, DHT removal if true, will have sopme affect to your libido (it's should state that on the bottle's lol Butt then who would try it..$$$ Have you already started sheddiing from Propecia at what month Just curious.? And when your estimated time for the sheds to come back is up, you sure and let us know lol
  21. Ya I kinda given up to. What I wanted was people from this planet any where in the world, who recorded their journey with Propecia. Month by month pic1 , pic 2 etc. These people like I, probably started taking Propecia when they first started noticing Hair Loss, like me. These people out there need to speak up and tell everyone HEY!! Propecia works LOOK It worked for me!! T I cannot give you a positive result journal only negative result one with photo's in a journal on my personal lab top! I'm gonna continue to take Propecia until the 1.5 year mark, then choose. And Audit for the public for their own helpful needs. Comments?
  22. WEll I think If I read that link correctly, the newest study of the two studies, MY theory would be relevant. Maybe I am a diffuse thinner and Propecia will not help me. It was written in that link that most men with results were only vertex thinners MPB. (Gradual crown thinners)(Mine started from the crown but ,y top of head has the pattern showing now, so that is Diffuse right?). And the thing is about that is, I know many gradual only crown thinners and their hair loss is very slow with out Propecia. I would love to be confidant I'm making the right decision with Propecia. And I would love to start seeing sheds come back in about 5 to 6 months as well. Thats about how long it'll be for my hair to get how it used to be. If I don't just keep shaving it
  23. Sorry to be a pain, But I thought I would sit and sleep and think on this response, but that link doesn't prove propecia has given any human being a positive result at all, and HAIR TRANSPLANT BLOGS are not (Journals of Propecia users). Those blogs won't prove any positive results with propecia AT ALL. Just saying. Journals!! Any one out there have a journal and a positive result!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????????? Guess I was the only one who caught that. Comments ANYONE?
