My hair had shed a bunch for me as well, but I am sticking with it to see if my theory is correct. My MPB is aggressive and it started when I was almost 24. My theory is this if Propeica does what it is designed to do. (Once my body and scalp I guess you would say, gets used to my new Hair Shed Phase Cycle). (MAYBE I will start regrowing some of the hair that I lost). To see results with Propecia, I would have to take this drug for at least 14 more months. Butt that is my theory to this drug and MY body. Lastly, Everyone DOES react different to medicine.

Sorry for such a short reply to a long story. I just think That no one knows the answer to Propecia it's all theories and etc.. Good Proof is what is hard to find. 66 views, Now 1 Reply.

Like 50% of men and sometimes women, go through this. Does Propecia only work for some people or not at all? I know Rogain (minox 5 %) was horrible for me but I think others received a different response.

Maybe my MPB is to aggressive to receive any results with the Propecia! what should I do?

I've been on propecia for 12 months now and no results. If I had to judge by eye, I would say I didn't see any results. I did go through a shed phase about month 5. However the pictures it would seem; my crown, mid scalp (top of head), and front has lost a significant amount of hair. My hair does not look the same as it did before I started. Any comments could help.

I read many things but I am still confused about this answer. How long should someone take Propecia before saying it's not working? Or it is? Any educated opinions on this would help!!!
