Regular Member SBSinNYC Posted July 23, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted July 23, 2018 (edited) I’ve reached 13 days post-op (FUT) and have been told by my doc that all grafts should now be permanent. I was very gentle for the first 10 days, so I am now left with a very crusty chapeau. 1. Can I just scrub off all the dried up crusts/scabs with abandon at this point? 2. Any hairs that are lost are going to shed soon anyway, right? 3. Any suggestions on products to smooth this transition? (yes, pun intended) Thanks Edited July 23, 2018 by SBSinNYC
Senior Member Gasthoerer Posted July 23, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted July 23, 2018 Moisture it! You should have lotions and/or at least shampoo from you clinic. Then rub it of very gentle under rinsing water 400+ grafts in 2018 and 2900 grafts in 2020 via FUE with Feriduni

Regular Member Jacks0n Posted July 23, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted July 23, 2018 Coconut oil, just a little gently rubbed in and left over night, or longer if you can, my hair is buzzed short so i just leave it and wash it out after 48 hours, and repeat. Senior Member gillenator Posted July 24, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted July 24, 2018 Coconut oil is good...you can also remove those crusts by soaking them in the shower, get your scalp lathered up and gently rub the crusts off using your finger pads.
