Medications are not necessarily evenly distributed in a pill. I was told this by a doctor. So, you could be getting too much of the active ingredient one day and none at all the next. As my nails are not as strong as Rugger's (despite my daily 3g of MSM), I had to buy a nice pill cutter. vocor1 Posted June 16, 2004 Share Posted June 16, 2004 I quarter Proscar all the time. Lemme tell ya, don't worry about exact doses! Just average 1mg a day at least, and you are good.
