well, i guess things have changed quite a bit since i last bought Proscar online. Can't seem to get the US Proscar without a script already written by a local doctor. Probably a good thing in general. A real bummer for me right now. I guess I'll use my Propecia prescription for now and continue to search for a doctor that will write the script. Maybe my general physician will. He knows that I've been taking Proscar for a couple of years now, even though he didn't write the script. Looks like you can get 90 Propecia for about $150. Guess that'll do for now. A little frustrating. Can't get a script for a drug that has worked a small miracle for me. And why? Because Merck wants to sell more of the more expensive form of the drug. My guess is that they are the folks putting the heat on the dermatologists about writing a Proscar script for hairloss. Rant off.

I too am sorry to see prescriptionskeywest gone. They were about $300 for 100 US Proscar pills. About 75 cents a dose. That isn't super cheap . . . BUT . . . they shipped quickly and it was US Proscar and it WORKS for me. No more hairloss. I've seen two dermatoligist and both were glad to write me Propecia scripts but not Proscar. I guess Merck has really tied their hands because I could not convince them to write me a Proscar script. So I'm forced online to find something that works for me at a reasonable price. Propecia is not reasonable priced compared to Proscar. Sounds like drugstore.com is reputable. I'll try them. I do want US Proscar. Any other good places to get US Proscar online?

Folks, Well, I haven't posted for a LONG time, but, I did use to post often. I want to say that I'm alive and kicking and that things are great in my life. I won't go through the long, drawn out story about what I've been through (maybe what you've been through, too), but I will say that there are days that I've said, "How could I have lived like that?" It is so different now. Everything has changed. Won't say that all my problems are gone. Will say that I have a new, better perspective on things. It is funny how you can reflect on how messed up things once were in your life when things start to head in the right direction. The difference is in the subtlies. I can say for me, that HT was the way to go. If you want some help, encouragement, hard facts based on my experiences: just e-mail me and I'll get it to you. Yes, I've got some picts too. In the meantime, good luck to the seekers of help and knowledge and a new perspective. To those of you in regrowth: Happy regrowth and keep up the knowledge. And finally: There is NO replacement for an educated, informed mind AND a highly-skilled doctor when treating your hairloss issues if HT is right for you. DON'T forget that and you will be okay. FIT into my scar worked pretty darn well. Haven't counted the grafts (haven't had to), but I'd say the regrowth of the 140+ grafts in it is pretty good.

I quarter Proscar all the time. Lemme tell ya, don't worry about exact doses! Just average 1mg a day at least, and you are good. I quarter with a pill cutter ($7 at Rite-Aid) or a kitchen knife works really well if that isn't available.

Micro: Congrats on taking another plunge! You gotta get what you want. What you feel you can live with. That is some super aggressive work. You know, I know it'll look great. I know that adding another 1800 or so to "lower and close" my front would improve my appearance with my current facial features. I have no doubt on that. But still, I'm a NW5 waiting to happen. I'm staying with NW2 with good top density. Gotta save some troopies just in case some more weirdness happens with my baldness pattern. I respect the guts! I know you made the right decision for you. The point I'd like to make about Bosley or MHR is that some of their doctors may in fact be able to perform okay HTs and treat you well, but they aren't consistent. They have MANY dissatisfied customers and their "ways" of doing business are well-understood. Yet, there are many top docs with little or no negative feedback or experiences from HT forum posters. Why would you choose Bosley/MHR over a top doc? I guess a question still remains: Why would you risk going to a place that people has labeled as "butchers" when there are so many others that don't have that label? True, there could be anti-Bosley/MHR plants here. don't put a fantastic result at risk and the doc's good work by lifting too soon. "Too soon" varies for each patient.
