Regular Member Abouw Posted February 2, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted February 2, 2004 How soon after a transplant would be safe to do a scar revision? I'm aware 6 months is average. But is it possible to do it in 3 or four months... I have the new scar above the old one and then it curves beyond the ear ( all thanks to Jones of Oakville). I'd like to blend them into one and use whatever is yeilded to refine my hairline.. Thanks

Senior Member baldbozo Posted February 3, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted February 3, 2004 you should try the scalp exercises that jotronic has on his website. then again, if your scar is still healing, it might make it worse? i think you should give it time and wait 6 months. You dont want to make a big problem, even bigger.
vocor1
I had scar revision at 5 months post op. Seemed to be a good time as the scar had "stabilized". vocor1 Knowledge is Power -- If the worst question is the one never asked, then the worst answer is the one never shared. -- The truth only matters if you know about it.
