Hair transplant of 3300 grafts with Dr Diep

I am 34 years old and I did my 3rd hair transplant of 3300 grafts with Dr John Diep on Aug 25 2017. I am a norwood 6 bald. My first 2 hair transplants done in India resuted in very poor density and I had poor hair growth. So Dr Diep suggested FUT as I can get more coverage. Dr Diep designed my forehead to have greater density. My transplant started around 7 in morning. I was sedated and woke up only to have lunch and fell asleep again. My transplant completed around 7 in the night. Dr Diep gave acell injection.

 

My prior hair transplant were 2000 FUE in oct 2015 from Dr Dinesh Gowda. Second was for 2700 FUT and 1100 FUE from Dr Mysore Venkat.

I am taking daily finasteride 1 mg and rogaine 5%. I used rogaine daily in the initial four months of transplant but nowadays my hair has grown longer and I have been irregular in using rogaine. But in last 2 months I am losing every day around 5 to 10 transplanted hairs especially while combing and applying rogaine. I believe Dr Diep and other 2 doctors used donor hairs from Safe zone, so I am surprised by my hair loss. Is it normal to lose hair after it has regrown?

Very impressive for 6 months, do you plan on addressing the crown?

Hi Melvin,

 

I am planning to address my crown in next 6 months. But I don't have too much donor hairs. I am looking for beard as donor. Dr Diep told me he can get 1000 grafts max from scalp.
