Senior Member patrick1916 Posted October 24, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 24, 2017 I was speaking to a clinic in Turkey and had planned on doing a shaved FUE but with a new job I can't shave my head so would need the donor only to be shaved. She said a FUE wouldn't get the coverage needed but recommended a DHI implanter procedure. Anyone any clue what this is and is it any good for transplants? Senior Member JayLDD Posted October 26, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted October 26, 2017 Marketing nonsense probably just referring to implanter pens, avoid. You already had one bad procedure, if you go with Turkey strongly recommend you go with Erdogan who is the best at the kind of megasession you require. andrewG
Hi patrick, I also speaked to a clinic in Antalya-Turkey 7 weeks ago. And also, I didnt want to shave my head. 2 weeks ago, I had hair transplant in there. Dr transplanted 3000 grafts and he said that my head is suitable to HT without shaving. If a person needs more than 3500 grafts, he prefers shaving. Because after shaving, hair transplant is more efficient and natural. I am very satisfied to choose this clinic because they use the latest technology, and they use a new technique for DHI. I feel no pain during the operation. They showed some before after photos. I think the results is amazing. I can tell for u what I know about DHI technique. DHI which is a FUE operation is done by using implanter pens. Grafts are taken one by one and then they are transplanted one by one by using the pen. So it is similar to FUE. but, after the transplant, you dont have to use bandana and there is less swelling on your head. I began to work 10 days after the transplant.
