Whatever you use, I've found the best thing for volume is applying the product to your hair while it's still wet and then blow drying it. They literally coat hairs and increase the diameter of the hair shaft. I was reading recently about sea salt spray. I haven't tried it yet, but I think I will. Their thickening paste is probably what you're looking for. Fiber or clay is also good for anyone looking for texture. Experiment with matte or shine finishes to see what works for you.
