ArochaHair
This patient came to see Dr. Arocha when he was 26 years old to find out what his options were for addressing his hair loss problems. His NW4A loss was very depressing and he wished to have a natural, adult placement that would restore a semblance of youthfulness while laying a strong foundation for the future. Dr. Arocha and the team at Arocha Hair Restoration performed one FUT procedure for 1910 grafts. The placement maintained a mature design which allowed the patient to have stronger coverage over the entire area of loss. His thick caliber hair also aided in coverage despite the relatively small number of grafts used. The result shown is two and a half years later. Senior Member Speegs Posted April 12, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted April 12, 2017 Good coverage for such a conservative procedure, and given his contrast between dark hair and relatively light skin. Is there a reason such a conservative initial number of grafts were used with a patient with relatively advanced hair loss, was the donor not able to supply more at this time? Or was scalp laxity uncooperative? Hair loss patient and transplant veteran. Once a Norwood 3A. ArochaHair
911fan, David-Moderator, Bald36, and Speegs:Thank you all for taking the time to view our patient results and commenting. Your kind words are very much appreciated. Speegs, The donor was not very thick, but there was some budget. We are very happy with the nice framing, and results. He is able to use creative styling, that is what it is all about, we like to express ourselves through our hair style!
