Senior Member Ernie Posted March 17, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2017 I've got a decent head tan at the moment, and seeing as my hairline is just a bit see-through, my skin/scalp is also quite tan. My upcoming HT is in 10 days. Is it problematic to have a deep tan where the incisions will be? I.e., tougher skin, more leathery texture, and just not my baseline appearance? 3185 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 2/17/16 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/182611-fut-3185-dr-rahal-day-after-pics.html 1204 FUT with Dr. Rahal on 3/27/17 http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/186586-round-2-rahal-1204-fut-frontal-third-same-area.html ---> total of 4389 grafts to my frontal third via FUT ---> 1mg finasteride daily since 1999
Senior Member gillenator Posted March 17, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2017 Having a recent tan will not be an issue IMHO, you just don't want a sunburn going on. Senior Member hsrp10 Posted March 18, 2017 Senior Member Share Posted March 18, 2017 (edited) As pointed out by the Gillenator you should be good to go as long as their is no sunburn (indicating damage to skin cells). Good luck Ernie Edited March 18, 2017 by hsrp10 go dense or go home Unbiased advice and opinions based on 25 plus years of researching and actual experience with hair loss, hair restoration via both FUT & FUE, SMP, scalp issues including scalp eczema & seborrheic dermatitis and many others HSRP10's favorite FUT surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr Hasson, Dr. Rahal HSRP10's favorite FUE surgeons: *Dr. Konior, *Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Couto (*indicates actual experience with doctor)
