Senior Member E39 Posted September 6, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted September 6, 2016 Hey guys just wanted to share my experience with Lipogaine big 3 shampoo. I've been using it every 3 days for about 6 months. It seems like it is working for me as well as nizoral, and is less harsh. In the few times I forgot to use the lipogaine, I noticed that slight "hair loss itch" in my crown area comes back. When I use it, my scalp feels refreshed and no itch. It has a nice mint scent. I would definitely recommend to anybody if nizoral feels too harsh
LoneWolf
Apparently Lipogaine has removed ketoconazole from their formula. They've also introduced a new Purple Label Big 3 shampoo. It doesn't have ketoconazole either, but they claim the purple label has more natural ingredients. Has anyone tried it? If OTC ketoconazole products go away, what OTC ingredient(s) should we look for next? Tea tree oil? Coconut oil?
Senior Member Dolph1969 Posted December 18, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted December 18, 2016 I think it's a good shampoo. That, Revita and Regenapure have all worked well for me.

If you've had a HT, I would proceed with caution.

Senior Member E39 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 17, 2017 They discontinued it and came out with a new one without ketonozole. Not sure why. You can still find the original formula on eBay
