7 weeks post fue

So seven week on since my fue my friends are suggesting I've lost quite alot of hair and should consider implants. Where and when is the birth of my follicles ? I'd started minoxidil foam 4 weeks post transplant now I'm not sure if this was a good idea. My decision to start using minoxidil was based on the fact I quit propecia. I am seeing alot of shedding now. Any reassurance would be appreciated.

7 weeks is still very early so no need to stress . It's likely that most , if not all , of the transplanted grafts have shed and is the usual course of events .

 

It's usual for things to look worse than pre op for a couple of months at least . You should really start to see things developing around the 3 to 4 month mark , but sometimes takes longer than this .
