Regular Member jonkee Posted June 1, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) So after taking propecia after a year I've noticed that the drug has started to loose its effect. Hair is shredding back to its initial phase..so what do I do from now? I've been taking 1mg everyday since and now started on 1.5mg. After about 2 weeks it's still shedding as much and I am clueless on what to do now, I am not contemplated on 2mg due to the ''side effects'' that may cause and financially (I live in the UK and the drug is expensive as f). Advice from personal experiences are much appreciated. Edited June 2, 2016 by jonkee
Senior Member ontop Posted June 2, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted June 2, 2016 I would hang in there, it could just be a seasonal shed.
Senior Member Spanker Posted June 2, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted June 2, 2016 It would be unusual for you to make gains and losee them in 1 year. I could see you making not gains, or losing, but to make gains and lose in one year seems odd. I would continue your current treatment for 1 year and see what happens.
