These pictures are shown pre-op and intra-op.

 

FUE is a great donor harvest technique which requires as much planning and attention to detail as the recipient area.

 

Recently, inexperienced doctors have created terrible scarring problems in the donor area because they underestimate the damage that can be done even with small FUE sites. This donor harvest plan illustrated a safe and evenly distributed performance of 2000 grafts.

Great work Dr. Vogel. I thought you may like to see one of my donor areas after a 5,100 graft procedure in 2012. This photo was taken 2 years later prior to a second procedure.
