De Reys or Doganay?

I am considering using De Reys due to the fact he is fully hands on and it seems a very personal service

I'm 30 years old and reseeding and my hair line is now thin. I believe the whole process has stopped now due to the fact no hair has fallen out for the last month/2 months and the receding seems to stop where mine is in my family

I've norrowed my seach to De Reys and Doganan but due to recent bad reviews and the fact Reys is based in Belgium I'm nearing closer to my decision. But before I make it I want to hear if you guys have any new reviews that you can share about either doctor?

Any advice is much appreciated because as you can see/read I'm very new to this all but have been researching this website for the last 3/4 months

This whole process could be life changing for me so anything will be helpful

Please find attached a pic of my current hair line

ShankaMan,

Welcome! I've moved your post to its own thread in Hair Transplant Experiences and Surgeon Reviews where it will receive more attention.

welcome. both good doctors you choose both used to be recommended on this site but doganay got suspended due to some unhappy patients and the work wasn't meeting the standerds this forum recommends. and de reys I believe parted ways with the forum because he wasn't posting enough patient threads I think the actually reason wasn't out there but I guess that's part of the recommendations terms and it wasn't meet. but if I was to choose one I'd go with the latter mainly because he does most if not all the important aspects of the procedure which is a major plus in many people's books.

Thanks wizz

I'm just so nervous about it all. Feel like u say that it's an important factor having a doc that does all the major work

I was seconds away from booking Doganan but stumbled across a lot of negative feedback. I've seen some about Reys but it's mostly saying that he doesn't rebuild the density? But nothing really about his quality of workmanship? Hopefully if I make it a major point that I want my thickness back he'll focus on that along with rebuilding my hair line

I will once I've chosen the doc do a full blog for everyone to see

Yeah nerves are normal for everyone going through this process so you're not the only one. once you get it done I'm sure like most popular say they wish they had done it sooner. I'm sure you will be in good hands with Dr de reys he reasonably cheap as well.

I haven't heard much bad reviews about him. tbh there's not much to go by but what I've seen has impressed me. I'd say he very conservative in his approach that's probably why you say he doesn't build much density but I'm sure he would consider it if you ask.

well if you do go through with it I'll keep an eye out for your thread. good luck bud.

Are you kidding me, you have picked two surgeons no longer recommended by this site, one of which was suspended due to the quality of recent results. You need to go back to the drawing board and do more research. The best for FUE are Lorenzo, Erdogan, and Feriduni. Stick with one of those three

Well going of old post I'm choosing Reys and it wasn't until I found negative reviews about Doganay that I thought I'd ask the question. I'm here for help and advice hence the has anyone got any feedback or suggestions? I am completely open minded but want the best for my budget.

Budget is a massive part of my choice of corse as I only have 5k which I've saved over the last couple of years...

I understand that, but this is not something you want to cheap out on. I would say even look into Dr Karadenitz or Dr Bhatti if you want cheap

how are you going to moan to the poster for choosing two surgeons that are no longer recommended by this site but then you say check out dr karadeniz who used to be recommended by this site and isn't now..

I do agree with you on dr bhatti though he's good for the price he charges.

I know it's like everything in life you get what you pay for but if I know I've achieved the best for my budget I'm happy...I would love to be able to not worry about a budget but like most it's not something I can do

The max I can stretch to is 6k and then it'll have to be a loan which I can't afford to do along with a mortgage.

There must be someone who is decent and has a proven record with consistent feedback
