PRP treatment, is it worth doing?

I am heading to Turkey in June for my hair transplant, I have an option whether to have the PRP treatment during my transplant, Whats peoples opinions on this treatment? Does it make a difference in the regrowth of your hair? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

Some people try alot of things in hope.

 

I have been told there is no evidence to show Prp is effective / works in the post op redness, not in the post surgery shock loss, not increasing early results, and not in the final results.

Asking if prp works is like asking if hair transplants work. Some doctors are better than others . I would not have prp from a clinic who does not have research and substantial results to back it up. Would I go with an unknown doctor and get prp no. Just like I would not get a transplant with an unknown doctor. I would however get prp with a clinic like Dr. Cooley who was one of the first to research it and has shown evidence that it works in reviving shrunken hairs. In my opinion his research on such procedures is a step above most.
