This patient received a hair restoration at the Norwood 6 stage of baldness. With the use of head, beard and chest hair, Dr. U was able to create a very natural hairline and temples. According to Aesthetic Surgery Journal by Dr. U, nape hair is more suitable for natural hairlines. However, not all patients have sufficient nape hair. Dr. U offers a FUE Shave Test that is used to determine if a candidate is a good fit. Usually to be suitable, a candidate must have finer head hair with potential for long term survival. In this case, the patient failed the Shave Test.FUE-SHAVE-TEST.png

Graft breakdown

 3189 grafts of head hair

 803 grafts of beard hair

 602 grafts of chest hair

Chest hair was combined with scalp hair to create the natural looking progression of hair thickness in the temples and hairline. Beard and head hair were used to fill in the sparse and empty areas throughout the top of the head and the crown.

Dr. Umar, in the case of a person that has halos from concentrated and inexperienced donor extractions, are you able to utilize beard, chest, leg, or other body hairs to fill in thos areas? This is to improve the density of the donor to make it even and less shockloss distinguished.

Can you also use such hairs to properly frame the face for the frontal zones and or even use such 'body' hairs to fill in areas where there are recipient density issues? This is to be mindful of scalp donor hair limits.

Ive noticed you have an eye fro properly framing the face, is there some tool or measurement you use or do you just guess it? You've successfully facially framed folks with high norwoods. I know in some cases you had to use multiple donor sources and sites, but you seemed to oull it off.
