Senior Member RecedingTide Posted July 11, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 11, 2015 Very nice result Dr. Erdogan. I see his donor capacity was estimated at 7900 fu preop. With uniform density of 60fu/cm2 I can only surmise that you feel it is possible to extract well over 40% of this patient's donor. I know there is one doctor in particular that believes we can take up to 50% of the donor via FUE. It would be interesting to hear a little about your philosophy on managing the donor area with FUE in the long term.

Senior Member Hairsearch21 Posted July 12, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 12, 2015 I wonder if Koray is able to create good results with finer hair then the avarage 0,5-0,6 micron... Every result is with medium to coarse hair.. No result ever seen with fine hair from this doc.
Senior Member hairthere Posted July 12, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 12, 2015 "Great results again , any chance you could tell me how many grafts went into his crown?" I would guess about 1500 in the crown. Likely all the singles and doubles went in the front, trips and multis are usually reserved for crown. Very nice result Dr. Erdogan! Senior Member MAGNUMpi Posted July 13, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 13, 2015 Nice result doc. Just goes to show you dont always need to be on meds for a successful HT. He will need them later because he's heading for a higher NW. Should really consider them IMHO.I'm not really loving the hairline post op here. A bit like a doll hairline. The top looks better post-op though.
Senior Member wibbles180 Posted July 13, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 13, 2015 I too would be interested in seeing some fine hair cases ... Is fine hair a major concern when having a fue transplant ? Would it make a huge difference in grafts required vs somebody with medium hair caliber ? Senior Member Britanium Posted July 13, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted July 13, 2015 I agree with magnumpi here. It does appear this fellow is headed for a high Norwood. If he continues to lose his hair is he going to have enough left for a decent result in say 5 or 10 years time? was it recommended to him that he should get on the meds?
