Senior Member Clint69 Posted May 28, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 28, 2009 Bishal, Its hard to tell with your hair so short. My donor area looks similar when I have it shaved to a 1 guard. When I grow my hair, it looks thick and my doc actually stated that I have good donor density. The best thing to do is to research the docs on this site and get some consultations lined up. You may be suprised at what can be done for you. Clint My Hair Loss WebLog

Senior Member Clint69 Posted May 29, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 29, 2009 If I had to guess based on the photos, I would say somewhere around 3500-4000 from a top doc. You could probably use meds to button up the rest. My Hair Loss WebLog
Senior Member TC17 Posted May 29, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 29, 2009 bishal82, Ask Bill if he can move this thread to a different topic thread so that it gets more hits. The best way to get an answer to your question would be to have an in person consultation with a physician. If for some reason that is impossible, send them some pictures so that you get a better idea of your situation. If I were you, I would be most concerned with the fact that you have lost so much hair in only three years.
Senior Member Ron J Posted May 29, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted May 29, 2009 Bishal, -get on fin (proscar/propecia) ASAP. -do research, & have an online consultation w/the dr.('s) of your choice. -what guard # is your hair shaved to in the pics? -if your donor area is thinning then you might have DUPA (Diffused Unpatterned Alopecia); BUT you shouldn't accept anyone's prognosis of this except that of a top dr. Incidentally people on forums told this gentleman he wasn't a ht candidate & look how great his results turned out: http://www.hairlosshelp.com/we...don_lad|gallery1.cfm Best of luck. Delicately helping those fragile souls who suffer from hair loss, w/motherly nourishment & care.
