Senior Member Mask Posted March 3, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 3, 2015 Hey Marcus, I did SMP about 3 years ago with HIS hair clinic. I did over a year intensive research before I went with it. It was the best decision I made in my life, it raised my confidence and changed my life as a whole. There are some alternatives out there, however in in my opinion; HIS hair clinic are most ethical business, most realistic result, more experience, and better reputation. Let me say this, the best clinic for SMP period. All the best

Senior Member wb280 Posted March 4, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 4, 2015 Hey guys thanks for the reply. Also, i intend to keep my hair short but not buzzed look. I have yet to see any results posted here showcasing that. It seems that all the SMP guys have their hair all buzzed down to a zero guard.. Do u think SMP can work something like a concealer to a short and neat crop of hair View my hair loss website. Senior Member hairthere Posted March 4, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 4, 2015 Hey Wb20, Welcome back! I'm actually doing SMP now and we've had some clients with short hair who have used SMP as a thickening effect and it's been very successful. The trick with this technique is having enough hair that the SMP is only a backdrop. Senior Member scar5 Posted March 6, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted March 6, 2015 SMP....thickening effect....very successful. The trick....having enough hair that the SMP is only a backdrop. Absolutely agree. You need a basic lattice of hair..I don't know how many grfts/cm in each zone or how it varies individual to individual, but it can be done and makes an enormous difference. -and some strategic hair cutting goes a long way too. You'll have to take my word for it. I must add, the SMP clinics don't encourage it. It suits them if you buzz to zero, but that doesn't mean it can't be done. In fact I think it almost always looks better once you get through the first two-four weeks of ugly/patchy growth.
samwaxell
Marcus, Although I have just undergone an HT, I still like the idea of SMP and HIS too. I have met with a chap that had the procedure, and it looked great. Having some existing hair or tansplanted (light FUE) with SMP is really the best approach. Senior Member wb280 Posted April 27, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 27, 2015 hey guys, sorry i have been travelling, alas to places like Jakarta for business, not exactly fun! Anyway thanks for the comments guys, actually i am very curious as to why most of u would not recommend dense SMP at the front line? Does it really look very unnatural? HT, i did not receive any PM... View my hair loss website. andrewdyson
I can't speak from experience, but I've heard very mixed reviews. Some good, and some not so good... Seems a bit hit and miss
Regular Member SatyamAmbala41 Posted July 11, 2015 Regular Member Share Posted July 11, 2015 You should find community members who have been at HIS hair clinic. So personal reviews are more reliable then testimonial.
FridaysChild
Large international company with very mixed results. Lost quite a number of there experienced practitioners over the last few years like Paul Clarke, Damon Ashcroft, Jason Perez who were very popular. Reading there forum it really is a varied quality of treatments. Some nice ones some poor ones.
