Senior Member Megatron Posted February 13, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 13, 2010 they seems to do terrific work, but isn't that a bit on the high side? My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Simmons
Bill - Seemiller
Megatron, While pricing varies between clnics, Hasson and Wong's costs are pretty standard/average for FUT work. Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member Megatron Posted February 14, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 14, 2010 ^aplogies, I stand corrected. there are some coalition docs (at least the one that did my HT) that charge less than half that. I know costing can be a bit taboo to talk about so I'll stop there. My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Simmons
Bill - Seemiller
Megatron, You (and everyone else) are certainly welcome to talk about pricing. I don't think it's taboo at all. While pricing shouldn't be the primary reason to select a physician, I can certainly appreciate the need to consider pricing in the short and long term planning. So go ahead and discuss away :-) Bill
Senior Member drmstx Posted February 16, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 16, 2010 Megatron, who are the docs whom you are talking about? Also, do you guys know if Rahal gives any travel reimbursements, and if so, what percentage of the travel costs do they cover?
Senior Member Megatron Posted February 16, 2010 Senior Member Share Posted February 16, 2010 Dr. Cam Simmons did my HT. I'm not going to say exactly what I paid, just because if I was a doc I would never want my patients discussing pricing with each other. And as Bill says, it's not the only thing one should consider.
