Senior Member Dr.Thomas Rosanelli Posted July 7, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 7, 2014 This patient had a total of 2229 grafts done over one session by strip harvesting method. Grafts were placed on the hairline, frontal scalp, mid scalp, and temples. Dr. Rosanelli did not place any grafts in the crown area. Photos shown below are pre op and 11 months post op. Preventive medications were recommended as well. Dr. Thomas Rosanelli
look123
Hi, I would like to know how much was the cost for this procedure? I also need to undergo similar procedure and needs about 2200 grafts. Thanks
Senior Member Dr.Thomas Rosanelli Posted July 8, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted July 8, 2014 Thanks for contacting me, Look123. Although there are factors that can vary the cost, you are probably looking at a cost of $6650 for 2200 grafts. Of course, you may qualify for a discount depending on your scheduling needs. Are you planning on traveling to the U.S. in the near future for your procedure? Good luck, Tom Rosanelli, M.D. Dr. Thomas Rosanelli
look123
Thanks for your reply... I live in Cupertino, California only and am looking to get the HT done in a month or two. Is it possible for me schedule an initial appointment with you to discuss my situation? Thanks
Senior Member Rootz Posted July 8, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted July 8, 2014 Dr. Rosanelli did not place any grafts in the crown area. He has so much more hair on his crown, and with high density. Where did all this extra hair come from, did he respond exceptionally well to medication? And if he did experience amazing regrowth from medication, how are we to judge the HT result? It looks like this guy received 10,000+ grafts or is wearing a wig to be honest.

It looks like this guy received 10,000+ grafts or is wearing a wig to be honest. This patient has excellent growth from his surgery and also uses our 10% Minoxidil topical solution. He does not take any oral medications. Most of our hair replacement patients prefer to use combination therapy, and in this way they get the best results possible. We also like our patients to use the Capillus Laser Therapy, however this patient does not use Capillus. Dr. Thomas Rosanelli
