Hello People,

Just came home with successful HT Operation. First of all thanks to all the members and seniors members helping with their valuable experience and feedback. Finally with lots of help from the HT members here and with their journey to successful HT, today I would also like to share my first HT experience with the forum done in Mumbai. Hope every member would welcome me with their views and inputs. I think not many members here have done their HT in Mumbai.

Okay coming to the point I had total of 2200 graft FUE in hairline and top front. I will keep updating here about my experience with the doctor and my journey hereafter.

I will post my pre op and post op pics in my next post.

Comments and input is warmly welcome. :)

Thank you.

Well let me brief you little bit about me, I am 24yrs of age started losing my hair at very early age of 19. I had no clue what was the reason I gone through with lots of body hormone changes and Hair loss couldn't understand if it was hereditary or just a hormone effect. Anyways the fact was I was losing hair aggressively, it vastly effected my confidence at very young age. Tried many things from dermatologist to dandruff medications, minox but stopped all of these after 1 year of use as I dint see any positive results later I was all natural.

But I noticed continuous hairloss as normal but whether I was lucky or the progress was slow my hair loss pattern dint progressed much deep but just got thinning at the front. Don’t know I might progress later as I age.

From that day I already planned for HT and patiently waited for 5years to see my balding progress coz I was very young to go for HT that time. But finally day arrived and I could finally decide to go for a HT after waiting 5years.

Keeping this post short I will share many more experience later in my post, attaching my Pre-OP and Post-OP pics.

Have a look and please give your valuable feedback, comments and any questions are welcome. It would only help me on my journey to the new beginning. ;)

Completed 10days of HT, Feeling very positive after very good experience with the doctors and after that its going all well. No pain whatsoever in donor or recipient area in 10days. Donor area is healing pretty quickly and scabbing continuously. But donor area has become little sensitive, i feel little pain if i gently press it with my fingers.

Scabs in recipient area is also drying up pretty quickly and started to fall off after 5th and 6th day. Falling of scabs increasing as the day progressing but only thing that started to worry me is watching my hair falling off with the scabs:confused: . I can see most of the transplanted hair falling off sticking with the scabs ?? I don't rub or massage i just gently move my hands over the scabs and it falls off. Even while shampooing i do dab cleaning.. Is this normal ? any one experienced like this, any advice please??

Thanks in advance.

hey taurus Congrats , can you tell me the doctor's Name ?

Thanks Mikeey :) There were team of doctors operated on me under Dr. Shankar Sawant and Dr. Satyajeet Kangle. At any point of time atleast 2 docs will be on and 3rd is the assistant who continuously keeps working on grafts like dividing, counting and cleaning whatever which Dr's. extracted from the donor area.

Looks good. Which hair transplant centre is this in Mumbai?

Is it me or the right side looks a tad higher in the last pic?

Thanks Shane bhai :) ,

Its the Dadar Centre, and yes i too pointed this out during operation but they said keeping little asymmetrical hairline will give more natural look. :( Anyways still happy with the work.. Lets wait and watch for final outcome :)

Hey @taurus
I'm planning to do my HT under Dr. Shankar Sawant. Can you please suggest if I should go ahead with him? I did not see any post op photos and wanted to check with you. Please dm me in case you don't want to publish the photos. Thanks in advance!
