Dr Charles or Dr Konior?

After researching my options and surgeons on this site, I have finally decided that a hair transplant is for me! I am a 37 year old with a receding hairline and front / mid scalp thinning

 

I will have to travel for the procedure so I have not had a face to face consultation with either Dr but through remote meetings and communications I have had the same recommendations a similar pricing from both.

 

I am looking at minimum 3000 graft to restore the hairline and add density to the mid scalp. FUT is the preferred procedure as I have good donor area and may need additional grafts in the future. This outweighs the scar risk, I hope!

 

Any experiences with or opinions on Dr Charles on Dr Konior for my case?

Tough call they are both very good choices. I also think they are both very honest Dr's as well. I wont actually recommend one over the other as I have utmost respect for both.

Yeah that's another tough one (like Konior or Feller), I'm an extremely happy two-time patient of Dr. Konior, I think he's the best surgeon out there period.

 

Dr. Charles also does some great work and seems closer to you, have consults and if possible meetings with both doctors and determine which one would help you best achieve your hair restoration goal.

Konior... Does pretty much all the work himself. Has exquisite hairlines and usually impeccable scars. Has exhibited great yield. I don't like strip much at all, but he does great work and is easily one of the top 5 strip surgeons in the world in my opinion.
