Finasteride- Morning? Or night?

I'm 45, and have recently decided that I have to start on Finasteride. I'm not a fan of pills of any kind, but with a little research, I've decided if I'm going to go forward with this HT, I better conserve the hair I DO have left.

With that research, I've also decided I'd sooner shave my head bald than have side effects of Finasteride for the rest of my days. So, my question for all of you who have been on it, do you recommend morning or night dosing? For anyone who has experienced side effects, please share what you did to reduce the sides (short of giving up on it).

Thanks for your insight!

morning on an empty stomach is best for absorption and also easy to take with other vitamins so easy to remember

doesn't seem to make a huge difference though, and not sure what is best time in terms of avoiding sides

(that time would also make it less effective conversely)

some have complained of sleep issues on it, so another reason to go morning maybe

go dense or go home

Does anyone recall Dr. Rassman's study on Propecia.?

I think he said that Propecia stays in your body for about 4-5 days.. so if you miss a few doses, it won't have any negative effect...

hsrp10's comments on absorption reminded me why absorption is so important.. i have the bad habit of skipping doses (probably because of Rassman's study from several years ago).
