Senior Member Brando Posted June 18, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted June 18, 2004 Hey guys, I just heard on the news where they've now classified hair loss as a disease. Maybe this will speed things up on a cure?

Regular Member eastend Posted June 18, 2004 Regular Member Share Posted June 18, 2004 That would be great, probably easier to get tax deductions for treatment.
Senior Member hairworthy Posted June 18, 2004 Senior Member Share Posted June 18, 2004 OK, the official definition of "disease" is "a pathological condition of a part, organ, or system of an organism resulting from various causes, such as infection, genetic defect, or environmental stress, and characterized by an identifiable group of signs or symptoms". I suppose hairloss could be considered as a "pathological condition" of the scalp... but how about losing your eyesight with age being a "pathological condition" of the eyeball or even getting old being a "pathological condition" of the body? I doubt you'll get a good response from your health insurance company, but you can always try... 3045 FUs with Dr Victor Hasson on 8 June 2004 1836 FUs with Dr Jeffrey Epstein on 2 March 2006 Regimen: 1.25mg Proscar every other day
