Senior Member Abby Posted September 29, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted September 29, 2009 I am 5.5 months post-op 2nd H/T and I am itching real bad, I dont think I itched so much compared to my 1st H/T. when I press certain areas of the scalp I can feel pimple sensations although I cant see any pimples. The itching is just as bad in the donor area its driving me nuts. Any suggestions guys whats ahpening here. You must first determine if this is folliculitis which may require a antibiotic as treatment or another scalp condition that causes itching. I have used Nizoral shampoo for patients with similar complaints and have had good success. If possible try to see the doctor who performed your surgery and get their opinion. Sometimes this is just a sign of new hair growth and dissipates after the hair has fully grown in.
