Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 27, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2013 Hey guys, For those that have been waiting for it, Nizoral 1% appears to have reemerged in the markets. I spotted it in my local Walmart this evening and also noticed that it is back in stock at our Online Hair Loss Treatments Shop. Glad to see this as I was almost out. Regular Member Rem Posted August 27, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted August 27, 2013 My experience: Niz 1% - Twice a week was not too harsh, used it over 1.5 years....definitely believe it works but over a period of time it does grey your hair as well and sometimes can leave your hair too dry. Revita - carries 1% Keto as well and is relatively more gentle to the hair. I have been using Revita for more than a year now and like it.
Senior Member HARIRI Posted August 27, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2013 I heard that 1% is useless and its for dandruff only. I think 2% is what hair loss sufferers should consider to use seriously once a week. Senior Member Calgacus Posted August 27, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2013 I never knew the 1% was off the market. There was never an apparent shortage in my neck of the woods. Anyway, I use revita every day except tuesdays and fridays when I use nizoral 2% ketoconazole. Does nicely. Regimen: Finasteride (1.25mg): Daily. Minoxidil (5%): Twice Daily. Super Biotin (5000mcg) Vitamin Supplement; Daily Silica Complex; Daily
Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 28, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 28, 2013 I've been using the 1% for a few years now twice weekly. I've got no way to assess its effect on hair growth but I do like the way it makes my hair feel. David - Former Forum Co-Moderator and Editorial Assistant I am not a medical professional.
