Senior Member TakingThePlunge Posted August 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2013 Great case Dr. Kabaker! I often get emails from young ladies like this wanting to know more about this procedure. This will make a fine example for me to pass along. Senior Member Dr. Sheldon Kabaker Posted August 1, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted August 1, 2013 Thanks for the kind comments. This is a great procedure for young to middle aged women who are not actively losing hair. There is an occasional male who can benefit from the procedure. The beauty of it is that it does not preclude having follicular unit grafting at a later date. Senior Member nathaniel Posted August 3, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted August 3, 2013 Very interesting, Dr. Kabaker, How do patients who are prone to keloids and scaring fare from such surgery scar-wise? Recently Dr. Lindsey gave a very insightful breakdown of how he "graded" his scar results from strip procedures. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171527-trichophytic-closure-intra-op-1-week-2-month-pics-showing-hair-truly-growing-throug.html I wonder if you could generalize the percentage of patients who have a great scar, an ok scar, or a poor scar after such a procedure?
