Looks nice and even but why have they taken donors from so HIGH up in the lower part of crown, I do find it extraordinary that the donors are from so high up on base of crown, I would have thought that this area in future will lose hair also...?

Hi, Greger.. Yes I have actually been down there and had a HT, I think it was a really nice place and they are really good at their work. The only downside was that not all nurses and the doctor didn't speak English very well (only very little), but during the important HT hairline the manager was there and talked very well English so there where no misunderstanding at all.

All in all i will recommend the place, and their HT work! :)

I got 3100 Graft

Here are some photos:

Hello yann

I've seen your posts about the Memorial Clinic and I'm wanting some more info if possible as I'm highly considering booking an appointment there. Would you recommend?

I might not be able to visit this site over the weekend so please feel free to email me on: ip_liverpool @ hotmail . com. All help would be appreciated, thanks!

@SorenM. I?m following your progress and standing before the decision if booking with Dr.Birgul -Memorial Clinic Antalya. I saw your Pics on 10-27-2013 and it looks great! But how is the growth at now? Are you happy with the result or is it failed? I?m missing some updates.

@yann: Are your Pics on 10-29-2013 removed? I just see "default" !?

Hope for current information.

Good Luck

Hi, I also consider ht in getfue but I still looking for more evidence of their work. I'm from polish forum where are 4 people who have ht in getfue but only 2 of them show results, 2 of them (one is woman) stop posting. The same I see here, I mean Soren, Danide and Yann. The question is why: do the results are so week that they avoid sharing info or what ?

It would be very helpful for other people wanting ht in getfue.

I also wondering why AHD Clinic (dr Hakan) offer the same method but more expensive ?

I am 32 year old male with receding hear and recently went for a FUE hair transplant with "besthairturkey" BHT Clinic/Memorial Hospital in Antalya Turkey. My surgery was originally booked with the leading Dr. Birgul but I found out in the operation room that it was another doctor and it was her 4th op which shook me! No one spoke a word of english besides the translator and translator was not allowed in the operating theatre. I paid for 4000 grafts but only got about 2000.

The specialist was very unprofessional and you could smell sweat and cig smell from him from miles. 2 minutes after the surgery all the nurses, doctors and the specialist disappeared from the BHT clinic and I was left by myself and 2 receptionists in the entire clinic. I was extremely thirsty and asked for a glass of water twice but it took them about an hour to bring a glass of water with lots of attitude.

The specialist gave me post op information which a page of common sense and later his assistant emailed me different post op information. Nothing made sense as they were not organised and seemed like they didn't know much. I paid 2300 Euro for for the surgery $3000 for air tickets and about $1500 for hotel and other expenses all for nothing.

Please be aware of hair transplant in Antalya and turkey as Turks are the biggest lying scams I ever saw, they will try to loot you in any way shape or form possible, not just the hair transplant industry but everyone else including taxis, restaurants, hotels etc.

Hi swain, sorry for your experience:(... I had some questions I am also considering going for a hair transplant in Antalya. I am a little confused where did you have hair transplant? Was it Memorial?

Why is price so low? On their website they say minimum is 2500eur for 2000 grafts... Or different clinic then?

Also that is very expensive for air tickets and hotel, definitely expensive in Turkey. Did you book yourself? Where did you fly from?

Regards, M.

I am a 32 year old male with receding hairline. I did a FUE hair transplant at BHT clinic Antalya. It was a nightmare. My surgery was booked with Dr. Birgul but I found out on the operating table that it was another lady doctor and it was her 4th op. No one speaks a word of english which is very frustrating, the nurses and the surgeon were listening to Turkish music on their iPhones and cracking jokes during the entire op which was about 10 hours. It has been one month and the top of my scalp is still very numb and I don't feel anything. I paid for 4000 grafts but did not get more than 2000. A day after the surgery I was allergic to the antibiotic and spoke to one of their nurses, nurse called the specialist and he said that it is normal to vomit to antibiotics…I went to another doctor in Antalya who advised me to stop the antibiotic straight away. I did not take any antibiotics for 2 weeks till I got home and now my scalp is full of infected pimples.

Hope this helps with your decision.

MMees it was BHT clinic. Best Hair Transplant Clinic in Turkey | BHT Clinic (link removed by moderator). I paid 2300 Euros for 4000 grafts and 2 nights accommodation, they pick you up from the airport and drop you to where ever you want to go. I booked the cheapest airfare from New Zealand to Turkey. I originally looked at Thailand but it was going to cost about $14000 just for 4000 graft FUE plus airfare and accommodation. It cost me about $8000 us for the transplant, airfare and 10 days accommodation and food.

By the way, Memorial hospital, BHT Clinic, Get Fue and a few other clinics are all run by the same sales team and they use different websites to attract customers, the same doctors and specialists …so it does not really matter where you get the transplant done

My husband had a hair transplant on 7th. feb. 2015 in Antalya Memorial Hospital. We found getfue.com on internet. After mail correspondence with an English writer Nick, we decided to do it. He responded very well to our questions and concerns. The Hospital and description of their work seem also to be great. They advertise with JCI certification hospital and high educated stuff/surgeon. When we come back, we found out that, they advertise with different names, languages and websites. In reality it is a team, that has lease on the premises at the hospital, when they have a patient. The hospitals JCI certification, has nothing to do with them. They do not speak English and they are not doctors. They are just trained to perform hair transplant. We have not met Dr. Birg?l at any time, which they write about on their website. We was meet by a translater and a team of techniques. They are not even nursus. You have to pay before transplantation start and I was not alow to go with my husband under hairtransplant, so I could not see what they did with him. He could not even as he lay down, and they explained nothing. A miserable person take blood samples on the morning of my husband and left bruising on his arm, though my husband has a clear and good vein. They gav my husband a sedative pill before transplantation began, then he fell asleep. The first part take 3 hours, which the plucked hair out of the doner area. The second part was after lunch and lasted 5 hours, the set hair in the bald area. It was a technician who performed the work, along with a group of yeung girls. They listened to Turkish music, joked and laughed during transplantation. Thankful to GUD my husband had no pain after transplantation. He had no need for painkillers. He was not raised in the face. Tranplant went as planned. Local anesthesia was also fine. The liquid as they raise the scalp with, also came out every night in 3 days. My husband had to sleep with a special pillow and 40 degree for 3 days. He did fine with that. The day after they washed him, which also went well. He's got antibiotiker, which he must take some weeks. He must wash his hair with a special lotion and shampoo. Tt itches often in his head, but it is healing fine from everyday that passes. Now we just wait for the result, which may take some time. Hope it is done correctly.

Their service is good. They pick you up from airpost and left you on airport on the time. Get a VIP room at the hospital. Food service was good. BUT the promise of educated and English-speaking stuff/sergoen, JCI certification hospital, it not real. You feel insecure. We will not Recomended place to anyone

I found the Memorial Hospital over internet and read some reviews of it, which I now I realize must have been fake.

I had my HT (3700 hair follicles) done there 2 months ago and now seeing the result I wish I had read reviews from this website prior to the operation. The results are horrible. The donor area is severely depleted and very little hair growth on the transplanted area. There are large islands up to 1 mc2 with no a single hair. Areas where hair did show up have around 3-10 hair per cm2. And they grow in weird directions. The skin looks like it has been burned. Even after 2 months the area is little red, swollen and numb, with lots of little scars.

The guy which was answering my emails before the operation stopped answering right after the operation was done. I just asked him the name of the doctor who has done the operation. I was confused because the doctor was a female, but on the paper which I got from them was a male name.

I got an impression that those guys under different names and websites: GET FUEL, Memorial Hair Clinic, THE Clinic, etc. rent facilities from the Memorial Hospital in Antalya for their operations but have no relation to the hospital itself. When I asked them that I would like to talk to the head of the hair transplantation department they became very nervous and did all to prevent me from doing so. I couldn’t speak Turkish so I couldn’t do anything. None of the stuff spoke English except an interpreter.

So bottom line: I would recommend this hospital only to my enemy. I wish I would rather had my money lost or stolen rather than having done my hair transplantation operation there.

(GET FUEL, Memorial Hair Clinic, THE Clinic)

Hi.

I'm giving you an update almost 2 years after the surgery with Memorial clinic.

You can see by yourself with those photos few days after the surgery and now 2 years after.

I'll try to find some pictures before the surgery.

I recieved around 2800 grafts.

Probably I need another surgery, but I won't do it for now.

I keep my hair short, so I'm fine with the result. Is not the best result off course, but that's it for these money.

Definitely better than before.

I think the issue with the hair loss is to accept yourself the way you are.

Before the surgery I was depressed about my hair loss and obsessed about my hair.

1 year waiting for my grafts everything change.

The way I see myself was completely different.

I realised that I spend a lot of time of that issue.

It doesn't worth it.

My result is not the best, but works for me. (also I'm a smoker that could affect my grafts)

Just gave me confidence that's all.

Off course I'd like to have thicker hair like moves, but is not end of the world.

Accept you dont have a lot of money to spend.

But if you're a normal person with normal budget it doesn't worth more than 1 surgery.

The time, the money efforts and waiting the grafts every day. Starring in the mirror each day of the week it doesn't worth it.

To anyone who decided to do surgery.

Everything expensive in this world is better.

Read as many forums as you can.

Contact with people done this.

Ask for advice.

And if you find a clinic and dont have money better save and wait than put yourself on first wave.

Good luck.

Hi

well Dr birgul seems to be a nice person but i did't speak with her.

she doesn't speak English, i spoke only with another old lady who was a sale person i believe.

she was not very accurate with the info, she was just saying don't worry everything will be fine you will get a head full of hair.

Dr Birgul did the drawing in my head and she left.

my feeling is is they took more grafts then they implant, they waste a lot of grafts and they are not telling me the true.

in the price that i negotiate with them they were suppose to do PRP, they haven't done it i had to fought with them the day after to get PRP done

over all i am not satisfy with the service, they are not honest

I've done procedure also there and I feel exactly as you do. It looks like they took much more hair than they have implanted. Even my friends say me that. No I can't wear short hair because of the destroyed donor area, and long hair look ugly because of very rear recipient area.

:((((((
