Scar Tricopigmentation at Dr. Koray Erdogan (ASMED clinic)

Hi Guys, I was in Turkey last week to visit some of my family members in Adana from my mother side so while I was in Istanbul I made a visit to ASMED clinic on May 3rd at the Asian side and met Dr. Koray Erodgan who I believe is a very ethical professional FUE surgeon. He examined my scalp, hair plus scar and advised me strongly to get a SMP for my scar at start to boost my confidence so then I wont worry a lot until my Feriduni procedure in the summer.

 

What made me happier is that they are using the Beauty medical technique of Milena Lardi from temporary inks to post operative care items. He had a smart beautiful employee who studied and trained well by Milena Lardi as she in charge of all SMPs in the clinic, she worked hard on my scar for almost more than an hours trying to get me decent coverage. I can say that SMP into scar is very painful due to scar tissue sensitivity, however I was lucky that after 30 minutes they decided to get me a local anesthesia to ease the pain.

 

After the procedure I was so surprised who it really helped me concealing my scar very well after looking at my photos and right now its even better especially when i comb my donor hair. I feel more confidence and wont be worry that much after my FUE into scar this summer. They told that it could remain on my scar for 18-24 months depending how lucky I am as its a scar tissue.

 

I would give my special thanks to all my Turkish brothers and sisters in the clinic for treating me like family and for Dr. Erdogan who agreed to give me a SMP without any appointment infact the staff stayed late just to perform a SMP on my scar as Dr. Erdogan wasnt comfortable to let me go back to the airport empty handed.

Erdogan sounds like a total gentleman! I can't believe he did it without appointment! The work looks very clean and intricate, will be interesting to see how it turns out as I don't trust alot of the professionally shot cases that are shown by some of the more commercial companies(with no surgeon involved). Erdogan should give you royalties for being the first to show his clinic's SMP abilities to the forum hehe.

Too bad you're not gonna shave with your next appointment with Feriduni. It would be very interesting to see how the SMP would camouflage the scar on a shaved head!

Jotronic & Spex, Thanks a lot for the advice. I actually would never knew about temporary SMP if you didn't introduce it in the forums, especially when Spex had his scar done LIVE in the Bald Truth show.

 

Well I didnt do any patch test neither a post op visit and that is because I wasnt prepared for it and my main aim is to take an expert opinion from Dr. Erdogan if strip scar revision is recommended to be done. He actually told me it would be very risky to do so almost the same opinion of Dr. Bisanga and that FUE into scar is my ONLY option.

 

He kindly offered me a SMP in the same day without any appointment and with a generous discount so I couldn't refuse it. I didn't really care how would it be as my hair already covering my scar, actually I suppose to do it after FUE into scar but as I said I couldn't refuse this great offer. However its very damn painful when you do a SMP into scar tissue without anesthesia as its more sensitive than normal skin as it took two hours but it WORTH it :-)

 

Milena Lardi indeed made a revolution in Temporary Scalp Micro Pigmentation. Its available now in many clinics in the world from H&W to Feller to Erdogan.

If yes, then how much would they charge for a strip scar???
