Reputable HT Surgeons/Clinics in SE Asia

I am currently on the big 3 combo of Finasteride, Minoxidil, and Nizoral but I am also looking into getting FUE treatment if I can find a quality surgeon or clinic at an affordable price.

 

I have checked the net, and the clinics are plenty, but I would love first hand info, knowledge or testimonials from members here.

 

I am based in Indonesia, so anywhere in South-East Asia would be ideal for me.

 

Any advice and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure about a surgeon in South-East Asia specifically but Dr. Hakan does really impressive FUE in Turkey at VERY cheap prices and is recommended here. Turkey is not too far away but it might be further than you would like to travel...

In SE Asia, we recommend Dr. Damkerng Pathomvanich of Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Pathomvanich is a member of the Coalition of Independent Hair Restoration Physicians and performs state of the art, ultra-refined follicular unit hair transplantation.

Socrates, I reckon I am between a NW3V and NW4 heading towards a NW5V.

 

My plan is to fill in the balding vertex and crown. Maybe even fill in the temples if affordable and if enough harvest hair is available.

 

Mickey, Turkey is just too far. The flights alone are very expensive.

Places like Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore are ideal as there are plenty of low cost budget flights to these countries from Indonesia.

I used Dr Path from Thailand too, and he comes highly recommended. Here's my write up from last year and current update photos from a few weeks back. I'm very impressed and happy with the result after 7 months.

Unfortunately, there arent any great HT doctors in South East Asia (ASEAN). They only country I would trust is Thailand. Dr. Path is the best there but ONLY in Strip surgery (FUT), in condition if he is the one who will perform the surgery and NOT the other Doc in his clinic. However if ever you are thinking of FUE then I would strongly advice you to go India at least and try Dr. Bhatti.
