Eyebrow Transplant with FUE uGraft, 350 Nape Hairs—Dr. Umar

Before Surgery:

• This patient dealt with sparse eyebrows due to a combination of genetics, aging, and past over-plucking

• She was tired of filling her eyebrows with pencil every day and wanted a permanent solution

• She admired Brooke Shields’ eyebrows and desired a similar look without a harsh or unnatural appearance

Surgery:

• Goal: Fill and lengthen the eyebrows; create a refined arch while keeping a feminine softness

• Dr. Umar extracted 350 hairs from the finest region of the scalp—the nape of the neck. Hairs in this area prove ideal because their fine caliber blends well along the brows. Also, their slower growth speed facilitates less frequent trimming long-term

• In other eyebrow transplant cases, Dr. Umar may also use leg and arm follicles for enhanced aesthetic results and easier maintenance, however this patient’s sparse legs and arms were an insufficient donor source

Surgery Results:

• Results show her at six months after the procedure

• She comments, “It’s quite interesting how many people can’t pinpoint what it is, but they do notice a difference.”
