I would like to say that this forum is a great place with great people where you can learn a lot. My question goes to everyone who has any experience with these two doctors. You can also PM me. I'm looking for HT August, September. I have emailed them both and they told me that I need 2000-2500 grafts FUE. I do think Koray is the superior surgeon and is very innovative with FUE. He has developed a new 'one step' technique that will supersede that current two-step extraction process. I do personally believe Erdogan to be the best all round FUE specialist in Turkey. He may not have the hairline aesthetics of Keser but his pioneering skills and amazing work on Norwood 5 and 6s make him stand out to me BIG TIME. He has plenty of patient results on the foreign forums too. Lorenzo himself told me he spent some time with Erdogan and said his work is 'amazing' and Erdogan pioneered a new one-step extraction approach. Erdogan is also very honest in what can and can't be done and won't promise a Norwood 6 the world. I like Hakan's work too but have not seen nearly enough of it and Keser does take out out of the safe zone which worries me. Hakan also recently raised his price significantly which is disappointing. I guess he saw what the foreign guys were charging and felt he could get away with it... Quite a shame but that's his prerogative. He never turns repair patients down unlike Keser who rejected me as a potential patient before I planned to go to Rahal. However do you have any idea if he is using manual FUE? Senior Member Yiddo Posted March 12, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 12, 2013 Ive been consantly monitoring the italian hairloss forum for about 3 years now, and Dr Koray Erdogan dominates it and has done for sometime, as ive said his result are fantastic, and its not just one or two, it a massive catalougue of them thats continually updated and added with new patients. The general average amount seems to be around the 3000 graft mark and from what i can gather the majority of his patents seem to be from Italy or Turkey. Im looking at having fue surgey at the end of this year. There is 3 surgeons that im juggling with and this Dr seems to be winning me over. BTW, I heard last week from the Bald Truth UK show by Spencer Kobren that he is planning to recommend a Turkish surgeon for the first time.
