rogerpaul
Hair loss problem can increase as the age increases. So it is better to care of it since early time. We should keep hair away from direct sunlight and pollution. (promotional link removed - read our terms of service)

Senior Member cachaco Posted March 1, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2013 So a few days have passed. Staples have been removed, cut my hair shorter and now have to plan my return to work in 2 days hoping for no one to notice. I did a little test with toppik today to get a feeling of how it will look. I do not think I can go any shorter at the back without the scar being too noticeable. Any thoughts? Senior Member Eman Posted March 1, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2013 I am not the biggest fan of concealer, but I understand the need with how your crown is shaved. I would maybe try to put on a little less and/or get the hair spray (that holds it in) to add some sheen to the concealer so it is not matte black. Just as women use too much foundation or acne concealer, it will be noticeable...but probably better than the alternative in your eyes. My initial HT thread: done and done!! Check it out... Senior Member cachaco Posted March 1, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 1, 2013 So I have trimmed it with a #3 around the crown and added some concealer. I am still a bit worried of adding a hair spray as they are alcohol based. I think I will be happy to go back to work with this look. Senior Member cachaco Posted March 3, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 3, 2013 Hi there, Things continue looking well. I feel the tension on the back of my head continues reducing and the scar evolution is also positive. I think I should be able to trim with a #8 in a couple of weeks. Only questions I have is related to the grafts not falling after this time. I have always been very careful. Just checking your thoughts on that. I imagine they will either fall in the next 2 weeks or they might stay longer? Senior Member Blake Bloxham Posted March 4, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted March 4, 2013 Grafts normally shed between 10 days and 2 months. However, I'd say anything up to a little under 3 months wouldn't be out of the ordinary. At 20 days, you still fall well within the normal limits; nothing concerning yet. Good luck! Senior Member cachaco Posted March 8, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2013 Today I cut my hair with #8 on the donor area and #3 around the top. I think I noticed a little bit of shock loss in the right side but nothing to worry about. Losing 20-30 hairs each day. Senior Member cachaco Posted March 8, 2013 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 8, 2013 Got a couple of better shots of the scar with the help of my gf. The right side is going well but I have a couple of pimples that look a bit infected. The left side looks pretty good in every way. The scar as a whole have some points that still feel a bit numb and others that still feel a bit sensitive but both things improving on a daily basis.
