Hi there @Can't-decide: It was around 40 grafts per sq cm. I think I have also recovered some of the old hair by being more disciplined with the minox, better hair products, vitamins and non stressing so that together with the good results should put me in a good spot I hope. @tacolinowest: The scar continues improving slowly. Still red but at the back and left it has hair all through. The right side still not ideal but want to wait a couple more months before making a call. I do not think I'd go for a scar correction. If I ever get hair greedy I might get some FUE and put some grafts in that right side to see how it goes. I have to go back to South America next year so I might see the same Dr. if I go back and feel I want to put some grafts in the scar. I'll try to put some scar photos soon.It is much harder on my own so I need someone to help me which is a good sign

Hi xtatic5, I think it would be wise to check with your Dr. but my guess would be that if no hair has come through on your scar at month 5 then it is likely that it is going to stay like that. Did yo get trichophytic closure? That is the type of closure that gets hair through the scar Good luck!

4 month update for the scar. Things continue improving in the area that had problems on the right side. All the other areas are much better and was hard to take shots so only posting shots of the right side.

I'm still almost weeks away from the 4 months but things are beginning to kick in so I thought I share my progress now with two close ups and then will post more at the 4 month mark. 1 2

Some scar updates. Back side looking much better and right side with some slight improvements. Still not a 100% happy with how it looks. I think I will not be able to trim it down to a number 2-3. I will check next month how it looks with number 3 Back side Right Right/Back

Yes, I think people tend to always hope they will be the 1 off with super early growth I do hope the 4-months post photos look a bit different

I am also a bit confused. I am not sure if the redness was scar and it is no less red or if the scar being stretched is just getting ligher in colour and getting some hairs through it because of the tricophitic closure. I imagine the only way to tell would be to clip my hair with number 1 but not planning to do that any time soon I am just happy it is looking better.

Hey everyone, Looks like the scar has been improving over the past couple of weeks. I have been putting either rosehip oil or emu oil pretty much every night. Also it seems like new hairs have been coming through the scar. Right side #1 Right side #2 Left side Back

Thanks Mickey, The Dr. seemed pretty happy with the crown design so let's see how the final results look. I was pretty happy with the procedure and the recovery so let's hope for the results to be good too. Cheers
