uuncut
Hi All, I am 7 months with FUE and I can't see a real result. I have been following these forums for a long time now and researched my Doctor very well (Dr. Ferduni, Belguim) before making my decision, I tried to get Dr. Basanga but he was booked out at that time and Dr Ferduni could fit me in on the date i wanted. I got my procedure done on July 16th 2012. I also want to say that i have had ht done before in 2007 in Melbourne when the Doctor's where not very good, To my mind I was butchered because of the scar width that was left, plus the amount of time it took to heal and by the way the implants where inserted, with no care or precision. So i am at 7 months and really can't see a huge cosmetic change, I have never been completely bald, I am wondering if FUE just does not work on me, I did everything right, however I did fly an 8 hour flight 3 days later as the Doctor said it would be fine. I have been on propecia for about 10 years, i cycle on and off it and stopped taking it 2 months ago just for a break. I am also wondering if the tiny scars left by the previous HT are delaying the growth. This is what I had down on July 16th 2012 Singles - 300 Doubles - 1141 Triple - 247 HT Scar - 480 Now from what i can tell the Ht scar fue procedure did work well, but the frontal area did not. So any help or advise help would be just months in an i am a little worried. I have attached before, post op and 7 months in. Thanks.
Senior Member chrisdav Posted February 8, 2013 Senior Member Share Posted February 8, 2013 I agree with the lighting of the two pictures. Second set of pictures are under harsher lighting. There should be still more to come. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired. GNX1
many patients see a LOT of growth from 7-12 months and some can continue to see it up to 18 months. like Spex said FUE can take longer to grow. at 7 months tho MOST have seen whatever grafts that are going to grow start growing so for now I would agree with ur disappointment BUT ur gonna have to wait and see wat happens over the next several months imo. the doctor and his clinic are very experienced and skilled so I doubt it was clinic error. uuncut
Yes i have to agree with you there, The Dr treated me very well and is very very good, I am not blaming the Doctor at all, I would go back there time and time again, because he is one of the best around. I will post some better pictures. I am just hoping i am a slow grower!

Senior Member Cryingoutloud Posted October 4, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted October 4, 2014 Photos under sunlight tell the true story. I certainly wouldn't want to evaluate the results of my HT under anything less.

You are likely to be disappointed in that case unless you have a very high density transplanted and maybe 2 sessions required. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK.
