Dead or Alive?

Ok so has been thinning quite a bit but I started on Propecia a few months back. But when i pick at the part of my scalp that has thin hair there are very often little yellow balls on the end of the hair that I pulled out. Sometimes they're pretty big and easy to see. I suspect that it could be the sebaceous gland of that particular hair follicle that I just pulled out.

I was just wondering if it really is the sebaceous gland and if it is, does that mean that the hair is dead and wont be able to grow back again?

That's just sebaceous glands I think.

Try using Nizoral shampoo once a week or every 5 days. It stopped me getting those.

Why can't you get Nizoral? I just got some today, it's in quite a few shops.....and only 6 pounds too

2,000 grafts FUT Dr. Feller, July 27th 2012. 23 years old at the time. Excellent result. Need crown sorted eventually but concealer works well for now.

Propecia and minoxidil since 2010. Fine for 8 years - bad sides after switching to Aindeem in 2018.

Switched to topical fin/minox combo from Minoxidil Max in October 2020, along with dermarolling 1x a week.

Wrote a book for newbies called Beating Hair Loss, available on Amazon

Well, I don't think that it's sold in my country, but I'm not a hundred % sure. I just really wan't to avoid having to buy much more than just propecia but if it's not that expensive here and they do sell it, I will propably give it a try. But won't propecia be enough to stop it?

Ice,

You may have some light shedding going on from the use of finasteride. Those yellow appearing bulbs may just be the hair roots at the end of the hair shafts. Nothing to be concerned about IMHO. ;)

You should be able to purchase Nizoral online but I would recommend waiting to use it until the shedding from finasteride stabilizes.
