Regular Member Arthur Posted October 25, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted October 25, 2012 I'm 6 days post op and wanting to go back to work in 7 days. As I work outdoors I can get away with wearing a hat but will this timescale be too soon? Also I'm wanting to get a haircut (no buzz cut just comb and scissors) I'm worried about the comb catching the grafts, again what will the timescale be on this? Any info is much appreciated! Senior Member Icecreamman Posted October 25, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted October 25, 2012 Not quite sure about the haircut, but I was wearing a Beenie about 7 days post ht, all was fine. If your really worried, you can put a bandana on and put Beenie on over bandana

Dr. Glenn Charles
No problem wearing a hat or beanie 12 days post-op. I let patients get haircut after sutures come out (7-10 days). I just remind them to remind person cutting hair not to cut too short in donor area. Took the staples out last night so with that info you've just given me I should be good to go for a haircut today. Hope I can cover the work up, just wanna get back to normal now and forget all about it for a good few months.

Regular Member Iamx121 Posted October 30, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted October 30, 2012 A few people have already answered you mate. I asked Dr Feller when I was there last week about wearing a beenie hat. He said leave it until 10 days in.
