I had read about this sometime back.

Any idea how effective it is? It is being practiced by one of the most reputed hospitals (Apollo Hospital, Delhi) in India so it doesn't look like a scam to me but I would definitely like to know more about the same.

Tihom,

PRP has been researched by a variety of practitioners for a number of years, but a consensus has yet to be reached. It seems like it may show some promise, but it's definitely not a proven treatment at this point in time.

Looks like my opinion has not changed much since 2012: Many physicians believe in - and offer - PRP, but it is still an unproven therapy.
