  1. I've booked a HT with Dr De Freitas, and already made him / his team aware of this thread. To which he responded thank you very much for sending this through. I think there are plenty of surgeons that aren't aware of this research / thread. Everyone should contact a previous surgeon that you've visited / clinic that you're intending to have a procedure with and make them aware.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. I don't actually have a reddit account, and can't say I'm interested to get one. It's a shame because this should surely be the place for all sorts of discussion about various solutions to hair loss.
  3. Hello all, Although I wanted to ask everyone whether they had experience with PTD-DBM + Valproic Acid, I thought I would name the thread 'Peptides' should people have experience with others. Has anyone looked into / used PTD-DBM or others and willing to share their experience? Are they a viable addition to a regimen / post-operative graft/donor success?
  4. Thanks for the explanation. I'm assuming that's why - from what I remember of your explanation - that you re-wounded an FUT scar in order to trigger a wound healing response again? One another note, do you think your use of exosome therapy additionally helps the process? Do you think it helps the recipient area growth density too? Given that you're approaching this in a very scientific manner, I assume you're taking regular photos of the donor area to assess growth. Would you be able to post these regularly too? I know it might be a big ask, but it would help make the case for patients and clinicians alike to use the process.
  5. Hello all, This may have been answered in the many previous pages of this thread, but can someone tell me why the wound has to be open for verteporfin to be used / effective? Or does it not and I've missed something?
  6. Hi All, I'm in the process of considering whether to have a HT with Dr Rahal. If there are any previous patients out there, would you mind giving your opinion and maybe sharing some before and afters? Any comments from those who went to Rahal and were worked on by Dr Pires would be good too. Cheers.
  7. I would also be interested to know if there is anyone out there who has had it and its effectiveness. Particularly anyone who might have had it done in the UK
  8. Hi All, I thought I would post this here, as I guess it's the right place for it. I was recently in contact with Gail Naughton @histogen so I could find out what's happening there. I asked whether they were still on for the 2014 release in Asia that they and Ziering mentioned on their respective sites. I received the following reply; "No, due to fund raising being slower than anticipated we have not yet started a Phase III trial in Asia. Please stay in touch. Thanks and take care, Gail" So there it is, in case anyone wanted to know. I don't know if you can do it on this site, but please don't bother PM'ing me anyone - I don't know any more than the response I've posted. On a separate note - Does anyone know whether it's possible to get standalone PRP + Acell injections in the UK? I see a few in the US doing it, but barely anyone speaks of it, apart from the surgeons trying to sell it?
