I know it clearly states that this tool doesnt replace the need for a consoltation, but my query is with the graft count to hair count ratio. I am of the understanding that the average number of hairs per graft is 2.2 when I have used this to check on the crown area the rate is nearly 2.7. This is quite a big difference. Especially when I have read so many cases where the counts have been approx 1.8. I know everyone is different, but I would of thought the calculater would be set as an average. Can anyone explain, or may be I have my figures wrong?? Thanks HT No1 : Nobel clinic, Gatwick 500 grafts - Terrible result, left with bumpy skin HT No2 : Marwan Saifi 1680 grafts. Regular Member AGL77 Posted September 21, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted September 21, 2012 From my understanding, this I believe is because doctors use more of the single grafts at the hair line and front part of the scalp to give a softer and more natural appearance, whereas they use multi-hair grafts in the back for more density/coverage.
