vinbald
Hello everyone I wanted to share with everyone the progress of my HT which Dr Wong performed on 19th Dec 2011. Dr wong was able to transplant 4100 grafts from the donor area. Below attached are the pics at 6.5 months and I am extremely happy with the results. Also since the results should peak around 10 - 12 months. So hoping for the best. Also below are the links to my original posts on another hairloss forum which has some preops pics. pre-ops link: (link removed by moderator) 7 days post-ops: (link removed by moderator)

Senior Member Jotronic Posted July 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 Jo, did he get implanted above his natural hairline? Very astute. Yes, his native hairline was untouched and the new work was performed about 1.5cm above the old hairline. Senior Member Spanker Posted July 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 Is there a distance that you measure from particular a particular point on the face to place a hairline or is it different for each pt? Senior Member Jotronic Posted July 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 27, 2012 Is there a distance that you measure from particular a particular point on the face to place a hairline or is it different for each pt? Good question. Sometimes, yes. We will generally place the hairline between 7cm and 8cm high from the glabella. You can see where the glabella is in the image below... There will be times that we place it below 7cm and even times we'll go higher than 8cm as of course each case is unique but usually it falls between 7 and 8.
