Senior Member AdamAJ Posted July 14, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 14, 2012 Well I'm in the ugly duckling stage right now. I know I've been experiencing shock loss which is expected. Can't wait to hit the 2 and a half to 3 month mark when things start getting better.
Senior Member BadBeat Posted July 15, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 15, 2012 Huh? I don't think you look bad at all. Did you get FUE or FUT? You can barely tell that anything was done.

Fut The grafts were placed in the hairline between existing hairs to add more density. I think it will improve my hairline greatly because these grafts were not placed on scalp that was totally bald unlike my other 2 transplants. Senior Member Gandolf Posted July 16, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 16, 2012 I think your results look really, REALLY good and I don't understand what you mean by your "ugly duckling" comment. Why did they have to do a 2nd pass into the hairline and not just make it more dense the first time around?

Why did they have to do a 2nd pass into the hairline and not just make it more dense the first time around? 1st 3 months are the worst because you experience shock loss and lose hair around the area where surgery was performed and obviously growth starts around 3 months last ht i had my hairline lowered and it made a nice change but i wanted more density because like mostly anything....it can usually be improved

Senior Member gobble Posted July 26, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 26, 2012 No, if I had your hair the thought of a hair transplant wouldn't have even crossed my mind. You look great with the hair you have.

Regular Member redman Posted July 26, 2012 Regular Member Share Posted July 26, 2012 Wow...if you can class that as the 'Ugly Duckling' stage, I'd happily be an ugly duckling for the rest of my life if I had as much hair as that! I can't even see that you have any hair loss. Looks like your previous HT's have done a great job!
