Senior Member a Posted July 1, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2012 Does anyone see any problems with getting transplants in the summer? I know obviously the beach is out for the rest of the summer. I'm concerned about the inevitable effects of sweat (either during sleep, in office, whatever) on the transplants. Senior Member AdamAJ Posted July 1, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 1, 2012 You should avoid exercise for at least 10 days is what My doc told me but you will find a lot of opinions from people.
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted July 2, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted July 2, 2012 Sweat doesn't matter. But make sure to avoid direct sunlight. A burn would not be fun a couple weeks post op. If you are going to be outside for a while just put on a loosefitting hat.
