Senior Member lanthanos Posted February 21, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2009 that sounds like a first to me. sounds interesting. what are your reasons for doing it that way? will you not be able to get enough grafts from the strip? Senior Member Abby Posted February 21, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 21, 2009 Well I was hoping the strip wil be used for the density front and top. Then additional FUE units will be taken from back of the head to cover some of the crown area. You may be right, Ill have to see on the day if it will be sufficient, if not then a few FUE may be needed for the crown. Bill - Seemiller
Abby, Usually strip surgery takes all day, and FUE surgery can take some time too depending on the session size. Is there a reason why you don't want to just use the strip grafts for the remainder of the scalp? Best wishes, Bill
Senior Member Abby Posted February 22, 2009 Author Senior Member Share Posted February 22, 2009 Well Im hoping the strip will do the job. But if for some reason there is a short fall in grafts then the next best option would have to be FUE. Saying that Im hoping the strip will doe the job nicely. Senior Member Leeson Posted February 23, 2009 Senior Member Share Posted February 23, 2009 Are you planning to keep your hair that short? My Hair Loss Website - Dr. Hasson
Guest wanthairs
Abby--- Ive seen your results. They are very good. If you are worried about strip not being able to harvest enough grafts then its better you do a consult with Hasson and Wong. They can do it all over the web and they are famous for pulling out the largest sized strips
